ULTIMATE VERSATILITY
Falcon allows Storetec's operators to prep and scan documents at a faster rate than the traditional prep-only process; significantly reducing the costs associated with preparing documents for scanning. With Falcon's four versatile feeder options (drop-feeder, packet feeder, high-capacity feeder and a unique Rescan Feeder), Storetec can scan everything from single sheets to multiple large stacks of paper intermixed.

Technically speaking, the all-new Falcon combines OPEX's innovative one-step drop feed scanning with the performance of a high-capacity production scanner, providing what they describe as the only universal document scanning workstation on the market. Minimising prep, paper handling and other manual tasks has not only improved Storetec's efficiency but also resulted in superior document integrity. As documents are scanned, operators can view images in real-time to ensure proper capture and identification, thus reducing time-consuming and costly rescans later in the process. The inclusion of blank page deletion and optional Virtual Rescan Technology (VRS from Kofax) is a major asset.

MAXIMISE AND MINIMISE
Truly operator friendly, the motorised adjustable height table is providing ergonomic value and increased operator comfort. Falcon's 22-inch touch-screen monitor has enhanced operator's ability to view scanned images and provide easy one-touch page-type classification.

In software terms, OPEX's feature-rich CertainScan software provides auto-classification as well as the most intuitive way to visually classify documents as they are scanned. The versatility of this platform allows users to maximise the many features of their OPEX scanner and minimise the preparation of documents before scanning.
