For Invoice Processing, ease of integration between existing workflows and AnyDoc is central to AnyDoc's offering, hence the approach of 'different flavours for different customers'. Most A/P users of course will require at least scanning, import, validation and sometimes invoice specific workflow. AnyDoc Invoice offers unlimited scalability users can implement as many scan, extract, and verify stations as they need, all controlled by MANAGEit - whether it is all done on one standalone PC, or on a distributed global network.

Central to AnyDoc Invoice is the company's free-form OCR technology, combining several different recognition technologies in a single application: it can look at data formats, keywords, database lookups, business rules, specific word combinations, logical combinations and calculated values to offer a supremely flexible and powerful data capture and verification process.

The interface is remarkably simple and intuitive: users are presented with options on the left of the screen dependent on their roles and tasks within the process (e.g. scan, import, review, classify, exception handling, verify, commit etc.), and user group controls can be managed using Active Directory. It is a simple matter to change views, delete or re-scan pages, combine images into multi-page documents, and much more.

Similarly, at the extraction stage the user can easily use VAT numbers to identify suppliers and automatically populate data from the ERP system, matching invoice details against orders.
